Our Fields of the Wood stands as a declaration of the truth that Jesus lived, died, and rose again. As we observe a concentrated focus on the hope that we have in Jesus, we are thankful to have a place that portrays the biblical account of this event.
As we walk through Fields of the Wood, we encounter Golgotha, marked with the empty crosses symbolic of the place where Christ was crucified. Just a few paces over, one can step into the replica of the tomb where Jesus’s body was laid and see that it is empty. The grave clothes are representative of the reality that death could not hold Him.
Our staff invites all who can to come and enjoy a time of reflection on our wondrous hope—He is risen! Because He lives, you and I live today.
The living testimony is experienced daily on our historical property. It is you, our readership and donors, that assist us in emphasizing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through this ministry, we give hope to a world that needs to know that Jesus is risen.
