With 3,771 churches, 2,196 missions, and 2,917 dedicated ministers, the kingdom of God is advancing with passion and purpose. Bishop Benjamin Feliz is the general presbyter of Mexico, Central America, and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean for the Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP).
Previously, he served as Finance and Publications Ministry Director at the COGOP International Offices. For nearly ten years prior to that, he served as regional overseer of the Church’s Southeast Hispanic Region of the United States.
Bishop Feliz became a licensed minister in 1993 and an ordained bishop in 2000. His previous ministerial experience includes directing national ministries in Chile and Nicaragua, serving as the director of local and regional youth ministries in the Dominican Republic and the United States, and pastoring three churches in the United States.
In addition to his ministry in the Church of God of Prophecy, Bishop Benjamin Feliz served as vice president of the Fraternidad de Concilios de Avivamiento (Fellowship of Revival Councils) for four years, and he later served for over three years as its president. He has served as an adjunct professor with the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Western Theological Seminary, and Fuller Theological Seminary, teaching courses in administration and leadership.
Brother Feliz holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and theology, master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and ministry (Arts and Religion), and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Brother Feliz has traveled and lived in several countries preaching and teaching the Word of God, planting new churches, and developing leaders. He resides in Cleveland, Tennessee, with his wife, Damaris; children, Benjamin, Jr. and Leanna; son-in-law, Tony; grandson, Isaiah; and granddaughter, Brianna.
