In January, International Children’s Ministries launched the year with a powerful time of training and ministry in Indonesia. The team, led by International Children’s Ministries Director Joy Hensley, alongside local children’s pastor Anna Bowser, poured into leaders, parents, and children, equipping them for greater ministry impact.
A highlight of the trip was visiting Terima Kasih Abadi, home to nearly 90 orphan children supported by the Church of God of Prophecy. Upon arrival, the team was welcomed with joyful smiles, high-fives, and songs of gratitude. Many children who once called the orphanage home continue to support its mission as adults, a testament to the life-changing work happening there.
The following days were filled with impactful ministry at the “mother church” in Medan:
Raising Disciples at Home – Parents and caregivers were equipped with practical tools to disciple their children intentionally.
Children’s Revival Service – Kids were empowered with the truth: “I Am on Mission for God!”
Institute of Children’s Ministry – Over three days, approximately 150 children’s ministers received practical training, inspiration, and encouragement for their ministries.
God is moving among the children of Indonesia, and we celebrate the seeds of faith that were planted and strengthened during this visit!
