Build to Last a Lifetime in Delaware – Children’s Ministry Training

Children’s ministry leaders from the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Spanish Region gathered in Delaware for Build to Last a Lifetime, a bilingual one-day training intensive that reignited enthusiasm for ministry growth, equipping leaders with essential skills and resources in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as children’s ministry leaders from across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Spanish Region gathered for a One-Day Training Intensive, Build to Last a Lifetime. The event, held in Delaware, marked the first training of its kind in the area in many years, reigniting enthusiasm for ministry growth and development.

The bilingual training, designed to equip leaders with foundational skills and resources, provided instruction in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for all participants. The event was skillfully coordinated by Mid-Atlantic Children’s Ministries Director Merry Ann Carde Garcia, whose dedication and planning resulted in a well-supported and impactful day. Churches from across the region joined the initiative, along with Bishop and Lady Thompson, demonstrating strong support for the mission of strengthening children’s ministry.

Alice Rivera, Children’s Ministries Director for the Northeast Spanish Region, played a key role as interpreter for the day while also mobilizing leaders from her region to participate. Her efforts helped create an environment of unity and collaboration, furthering the mission of equipping leaders to build strong, lasting ministries.
