As we embrace the call to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), the North America Multiply 2030 Initiative flows from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to join God in his mission of reconciling the world to Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. In previous White Wing Messenger articles, we have celebrated the new church plants organized through the Multiply 2030 initiative. Today, with excitement and thankfulness, we celebrate the 28 new missions that have been planted since the initiative’s inception! This wonderful milestone highlights our collective obedience to the Lord and inspires us to continue in prayer and obedience toward the goal of planting 500 new churches in North America by 2030.
The First Steps: Organizing New Missions
The journey toward establishing a new church begins with the organization of a mission. In North America, this process involves a leader or a group of leaders gathering a small group of believers who are committed to meeting, praying, and ministering together within their community. These missions serve as the foundational step in church planting, providing the nurturing ground for growth and discipleship.
One of the most exciting things I witness is when a local congregation “mothers” a new mission or local congregation. We all have a mother who birthed and nurtured us to life and health. In the same way, new missions and congregations are birthed and nurtured by healthy congregations who support their organization, growth, and ministry. Thank God for mothering churches!
To support these new missions, beyond the support of their mothering congregation and the assistance they receive from their regional/state office, North America provides each new mission with a $1,000 Multiply Grant to aid in their initial ministry phases. Prayer and financial support enable these budding new missions to establish themselves and begin their ministry of sharing Jesus with their communities. The ultimate hope for these recently planted missions is to see them flourish into organized and effective churches that share the love of Jesus with their communities/cities.
It is also significant that many new missions are organized in new and exciting ministry contexts. Some missions are established around specific community-facing ministries, rather than what we would identify as traditional church ministry. Some focus on their calling to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of their communities, as well as the spiritual. Whatever the context, we celebrate every preaching and serving point being planted and rejoice in how God is moving in ministry that is new and exciting!

Celebrating the 50th New Congregation Planted through the Multiply 2030 Initiative
Amidst the joy of planting new missions, we are also thrilled to announce the organization of our 50th church within the Multiply 2030 Initiative. This milestone is a profound reminder of God’s goodness and the tireless efforts of church planters and church planting teams across North America. Each of these 50 new congregations represents a community touched by the love of Christ and a testimony to the goodness of God. We celebrate the Iglesia de Dios de la Profecía Jesucristo Rey de Reyes, the 50th congregation planted during the Multiply 2030 Initiative!

We rejoice for God’s faithfulness and the work of North America’s regional/state bishops, and their Multiply 2030 teams. These leaders, along with the pastors, ministers, and leaders in every region/state, are committed to prayer and obedience to the work of the Holy Spirit. Together, we are witnessing the work of God that brings us closer to the vision of 500 new churches and 2,000 healthy congregations in North America by 2030.
Training for Growth: Healthy Church Dynamics
A cornerstone of the Multiply 2030 Initiative is the emphasis on not just planting new churches but ensuring existing North America congregations are healthy and sustainable. The introduction of the Healthy Church Dynamics (HCD) training is equipping pastors and leaders across North America with the tools they need to nurture thriving congregations. This training has already been offered in a number of states/regions in North America, with the goal of extending it to every state and region by the end of 2025.
Healthy churches are the lifeblood of the initiative, as they possess the potential to impact their community with the love of Jesus, to mother other churches, and to expand the reach of the gospel. The HCD training underscores the importance of spiritual health, leadership development, and effective ministry, all of which are essential for fulfilling the Great Commission.

An Incredible Beginning: Healthy Church Dynamics Training
We experienced a wonderful outpouring of God’s goodness as North America’s 26 regional/state bishops, along with the Multiply 2030 commissions of these regions/states, gathered at the International Offices Ministry Training Center in October 2024 for equipping in Healthy Church Dynamics and Church Planting Essentials. This incredible three-day event was a catalyst moment for North America as Multiply 2030 commissions were equipped to take training back to their respective regions/states.

A World in Need: Planting Churches for Hope
At the heart of our church planting efforts lies the deep conviction that the world is in desperate need of Jesus. We believe the most effective way to spread the gospel and fulfill the Great Commission is to plant healthy churches in every city and community. This mission is not just a strategy, but a divine calling placed upon the Church of God of Prophecy in North America.
Prayer is the key and essential element of the Multiply 2030 Initiative. It is through prayer that we seek guidance, strength, and provision from the Lord. We invite every believer to join us in daily prayer, lifting up this goal of 500 new churches and 2,000 healthy congregations by 2030!

A Collective Commitment: Honoring Our Leaders
We extend our deepest appreciation to the regional/state bishops of North America who have shown extraordinary commitment to the Multiply 2030 Initiative. Their support, along with their dedication to leadership development and training, has been invaluable. These leaders have embraced the challenge of expanding God’s kingdom with open hearts and hands, ensuring that every new church and mission is impactful and participating in the mission of God.
A Call to Action: Partnering in Prayer and Support
As we celebrate these achievements and look ahead to the future, we urge you to continue standing with us in prayer. Your support and intercession are vital as we strive to meet the ambitious goals of the Multiply 2030 Initiative. Let us seek the Lord together, trusting that he will lead us to plant 500 new churches and cultivate 2,000 healthy congregations by 2030. For more information visit Multiply2030.org.
