Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the way we work, communicate, and learn—and the Church is not exempt from these changes. Rather than asking whether AI is simply “good” or “bad,” this session explores a more important question, “How can the Church use AI as a tool without allowing it to reshape our calling, theology, or mission?”
Drawing from a recent survey of more than 700 Church of God of Prophecy pastors, leaders, and members, this presentation to the 103rd International Assembly reveals that our global family is not looking for fear or hype—they are asking for wise, biblical leadership.
The session offered four practical guardrails for responsible AI use—transparency, theological discernment, faithful stewardship of time, and protecting people’s trust—along with real-world examples of how AI can strengthen communication, administration, sermon repurposing, translation, and organizational tasks without replacing the ministry only people can provide.
