Saturday opened with prayer led by South America Ministries, followed by worship, testimonies, and a moving tribute to Kelly Moore Coalter. Bishop Tim Coalter then delivered his Presiding Bishop’s Biennial Address, reflecting on the Assembly theme of testimony, the Church’s continuing global mission, and the importance of passing faith to future generations. During the address, he announced the establishment of the International Music Department, with Reverend Chad Lambert serving as director.
The afternoon session, “Testify! Music of the Church,” celebrated the rich musical heritage of the Church of God of Prophecy through congregational singing, choir selections, instrumental performances, multilingual worship, and personal testimonies. Musicians from across the Church shared their gifts, and the session concluded with prayer over Chad Lambert and the newly established music ministry.
Saturday evening featured the Bahama Brass Band and the Lee University Campus Choir before Reverend Dr. Carlos Perez preached “Testimony of a New Generation: Not with Words . . . but with Power.” Challenging the Church to believe in and invest in younger generations, Perez emphasized that the gospel must be demonstrated through authentic, Spirit-filled lives. His message concluded with a call to young people sensing God’s call to ministry, and many responded at the altar in a powerful time of prayer and dedication.
