Fields of the Wood

As we step into a new year, Fields of the Wood is moving forward with renewed vision and fresh projects that continue to advance this sacred ministry. Last year, thousands walked these grounds—seeking hope, healing, and a deeper connection with God. We were blessed to pray with visitors, encourage families from around the world, and witness lives reshaped by the presence of the Holy Spirit that permeates this historic site.

We regularly hear testimonies of strengthened faith, restored joy, and renewed callings. Many rediscover their relationship with Jesus Christ as they encounter the Word of God displayed on the mountainside and experience the peace that fills this holy place. Ministers often share how their visit brought fresh clarity, inspiration, and spiritual renewal.

This impact is possible because of faithful partners like you. Fields of the Wood is a ministry of the global Church of God of Prophecy, and the generosity of donors is what keeps the gates open, the grounds beautiful, and the message alive. Every gift—large or small—given through fowrenew.org goes directly toward preserving and enhancing your historical properties.

Major Renovation Opportunity

During these colder months, we have a unique opportunity to complete important repairs on the historic home located in the heart of the park. With no current residents, we are addressing longstanding issues that require immediate attention. We recently repaired significant plumbing challenges in the basement and are now focused on releveling the home and reinforcing beams that have settled over time. Additionally, the electrical system—now outdated—must undergo a complete and necessary upgrade.

These repairs are essential, foundational, and costly. Your support is urgently needed as we move through each phase of this restoration.

Preparing Space for Ministry and Connection

Once the structural, plumbing, and electrical work is complete, we will begin transforming the interior of the home. Our vision is to create a welcoming ministry space available for various events:

  • Pastoral team retreats
  • Small group gatherings
  • Birthday and babyshower celebrations
  • Local church functions
  • Other ministry-building events

The master suite will be restored and designated as the Tomlinson Room—a historic name long associated with this space—and reserved as a sacred place of prayer, reflection, and renewal for our church leadership.

Partner with Us as We Move Forward

As spring approaches, many additional projects await, alongside the ongoing care required to maintain these beloved grounds. Every initiative depends on partners who believe in the mission and legacy of Fields of the Wood.

We invite you to join us—through giving, volunteering, and sharing this mission with your local church. Every team that serves here finds joy, and every donation is used wisely and purposefully to care for what God has entrusted to us.

Thank you for standing with us, praying for us, and helping preserve this sacred landmark for the global body of Christ.

These are your historical properties. This is your heritage.

And together, we can strengthen this ministry for generations to come.
