International Presbytery members from around the world gathered July 12–14, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, for three days of worship, fellowship, leadership development, ministry reporting, discernment, and preparation for the 103rd International Assembly. Presiding Bishop Tim Coalter opened the meeting by focusing attention on the Assembly theme, “Testify,” reminding leaders that they are “custodians of a story” and that the Church’s primary responsibility is to tell the story of Jesus.
Throughout the meeting, international leaders shared reports reflecting the growth and expanding reach of the Church of God of Prophecy. The Church’s three executive directors highlighted the work of their respective ministry areas: Bishop Dr. Shaun McKinley, Executive Director of Global Communications, reported on initiatives designed to connect and equip the Church across languages and cultures; Bishop Daniel Felipe, Executive Director of Finance and Administration, reported on stewardship, financial accountability, and the Church’s continued global growth; and Bishop Jeffery Davis, Executive Director of Leadership Development and Discipleship, shared developments in equipping ministers and strengthening discipleship around the world. Additional reports highlighted missions, children, youth, and other areas of ministry, while leadership development sessions challenged presbyters to grow personally and professionally as they serve their regions and nations.
A significant portion of the meeting was devoted to leadership discernment. General Presbyters James Kolawole, Tim McCaleb, and Brian Sutton were overwhelmingly reaffirmed following evaluations. The International Presbytery also selected Bishop Dr. Carswell Leonard to serve as general presbyter of the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean Islands and Bishop Tedroy Powell as general presbyter of Wider Europe and the Middle East. Both selections concluded with prayer as fellow leaders gathered around the newly selected general presbyters.
The Presbytery also considered revisions to the Governance Manual, received Biblical Doctrine and Polity presentations, and recognized leaders completing significant seasons of international service. As the meeting concluded, new leadership appointments were introduced and the presbyters gathered for fellowship, portraits, and the traditional International Presbytery group photograph— marking another important moment in the shared ministry and continuing story of the Church of God of Prophecy.
