Prayer has always been an integral part of our movement. From the kneeling of Bishop A. J. Tomlinson on what is now referred to as Prayer Mountain to the vast regions of the world, we continue to be a people of prayer.
It is prayer that has empowered us. It is prayer that has inspired us. It is prayer that will sustain us. It is prayer that will impart vision for the future to us.
At Fields of the Wood, we are dedicated to offering an environment where people are welcome to pray. Whether at the designated Prayer Mountain altar, on the top of Ten Commandment Mountain, at the All Nations Cross, or through the trails that comb the mountainside, we encourage prayer for every visitor.
Because an atmosphere of reverence and prayer prevail in the park, we hear visitors often comment, “It is so peaceful here.” We believe that peace exists between the mountain peaks because this property was dedicated to the Lord and stands today as a testimony of what God has done and continues to do in His people. This “Place of Peace” is a resounding declaration of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Our visitors leave having been impacted by the Lord’s divine presence and relieved of the stress and worries of this life.
Church of God of Prophecy, you are playing a role in sharing peace and the importance of prayer to thousands of visitors each year. We thank you for your continued partnership in this life-changing ministry. You are touching lives of people you may never meet, but the Lord sees and He remembers.
Our “Place of Prayer” within the park stands in great need of revitalization. Would you consider helping us to restore it to a beautiful place of encounter with God Almighty? We estimate that we need somewhere between $5,000 to $7,500 to do the restoration work in this area. With the potential help of volunteers, the labor cost could turn out to be even less.
Consider donating today at FOWRENEW.ORG. You can also become a monthly donor at COGOPHERITAGE.ORG.
The investment you make today in this ministry will impact lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2026.
