News from Madagascar

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NASB). To the glory of God, who has called and commissioned us for the sacred task of reconciling the world back to himself through the power of the Holy Spirit, I am humbled to share the progress of our new mission work in Madagascar.

We launched the church in October 2024, and by the grace of God, we now welcome between 80 to 90 worshippers in each of our services. A significant milestone was achieved earlier this year during the visit of Bishop James Kolawole (Africa General Presbyter) and Reverend Patrick Villanueva (North Carolina, USA). During their time with us, 14 members were baptized, and 55 were covenanted into full fellowship with the Church.

Following this growth, we have submitted an application to the government of Madagascar for official church registration. One of the key requirements for approval is the ownership of land. To that end, we give glory to God for leading us to a suitable property located in the capital city, Antananarivo. The total cost of the land, including all proper documentation, is $30,000.

We are grateful for any financial support to help us secure this property, which is essential for the continued growth and establishment of God’s work in Madagascar. There is tremendous potential here to reach the lost and expand the kingdom of God.

In his service,

Pastor IseOlorunkanmi Dada Mattiews
