Video Editor/Studio Technician

Merge technical expertise in studio operations with post-production skills to create high-quality audio-visual content. Possess the knowledge to set up, operate and maintain cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and audio mixing to produce live or recorded media. Integrate final products into social media, websites and webcasts.

Skills:

  • Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite), audio, and streaming software.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand lighting, cameras, microphones, and studio systems. Integration with social media, webcasting and digital media.
  • Communication: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in production, broadcasting, or related field or 5+ years’ experience.
  • Must have a portfolio of completed projects, videos, digital media or audio.
  • Must be a member in good standing of a Church of God of Prophecy congregation.
  • Must complete a skill assessment test.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Production Setup: Install, operate, and maintain studio equipment, i.e., cameras, lighting, audio, and control room systems.
  • Post-Production/Editing: Edit raw footage to create final, polished content, including adding sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot technical issues during recordings or live broadcasts.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality standards for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work with others to achieve desired creative vision and technical requirements.
  • Asset Management: Organize, back up, and maintain media assets. 


Work Environment

As a Christian, faith-based organization, we require adherence to biblically based standards and the teachings and doctrine of the Church of God of Prophecy. Must be a member in good standing of a Church of God of Prophecy congregation.
Wage is commensurate with experience.
