Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 1 Chronicles 16:29 KJV
It is a beautiful sight to see children worshiping the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Every year we have campers who have never experienced true worship, so we intentionally teach them what worship is, who we are worshiping, and how to worship. We help invite children into the presence of God through worship.
Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that children can’t understand and fully experience worship until they are older. This is not true. Children need to worship, so they can fully experience the presence of God. Even children need to learn to lay back against Him and breathe.
Worship is not just for the church services or singing. We also teach our campers to worship God by telling Him who He is and praising Him for what He has done by taking them outside at camp.
God, you made the hills, the creek and the wind that moves the trees.
God, you made a time for me to come and spend it with you.
God, you have given us beautiful days to enjoy.
Make worship engaging and positive for your campers. We want them to have a longing to spend time with God.
