Discover the Biblical Highlights of Fields of the Wood
Fields of the Wood is a testament to faith and history. This stunning biblical outdoor theme park spans nearly 200 acres in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, offering visitors a unique spiritual journey. The park is owned by the Church of God of Prophecy and maintained by the Heritage Ministries Department at the International Offices.
Golgotha Replica
A replica of the skull-shaped hill that served as the place of Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice so that our sins might be forgiven.
The Tomb
Christ’s burial was in a borrowed tomb, similar in size and shape to this one. He did not stay in the tomb. On the third day, He arose!
Arise, Shine Marker
This marker notes the 20th-century Church of God restoration site, its apostolic foundation, and the emergence of its biblical identity.
Prayer Mountain
Follow steps up the mountain to restoration of New Testament truths. These markers tell story of reformation and recognition of the biblical Church.
Ten Commandments
Across from Prayer Mountain lies the truths of the Ten Commandments on the mountainside. This is the largest display of the Ten Commandments.
All Nations Cross
Atop Ten Commandment Mountain, the 150-foot All Nations Cross displays rotating flags of the 130+ nations served by the Church of God of Prophecy.
