RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE: estherLILY

HOURS
Part Time (under 15 hours per week)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail sales for the estherLILY clothing store, responsible for providing customer service, cashier, stocking, merchandising, setting weekly sales and answering phones.

WAGE RANGE
Based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should be friendly, have familiarity with computers, and a willingness to work with customers. Sales experience preferred, but not required. Bilingual is a plus, but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be available to work as needed, during the following hours:
Monday – Saturday
9:45 AM – 9:15 PM
Sunday
11:45 AM – 6:15 PM

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE: White Wing Bookstore
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer service, cashier, stocking, merchandising, name imprinting on Bibles, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should be friendly, have some familiarity with computers, and a willingness to work with customers. Sales experience preferred but not required. Bilingual is a plus, but not a requirement. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT: Communications Department

RESPONSIBLE TO
Director of Communications

OBJECTIVE
The Editorial Assistant will assist the Director of Communications in implementing an overall communications plan for the International Offices, assist in marketing, social and new media promotions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1.  Communications department responsibilities
a.  Serves as first point of contact for the communications area—phone calls, in-office guests, project requests, etc.
b.  Keeps track of employee records (absentee forms, time off)
c.  Manages departmental expenditures and reimbursements
d.  Maintain office files and supplies
e.  Perform office correspondence
f.   Receive and distribute mail, including magazines
g.  Other duties as requested by the Communications Director
2.  White Wing Messenger responsibilities
a.  Assist with final reading of copy and press proofs when asked
b.  Do staff writing when needed
c.  Maintain files of WWM issues
d.  Maintain database of international White Wing Messenger accounts
e.  Coordinate production of White Wing Messenger in Spanish and English
f.   Set up and work in subscriptions booth at conferences or where needed
3.  Social Media
a.  Serve as co-administrator for COGOP social media accounts—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
b.  Upload material from White Wing Messengers to website
c.  Adapt reading plans for YouVersion from White Wing Messenger articles
4.  Assembly Year
a.  Preparation for the assembly (schedules, files, meetings, bookings, etc.)
b.  Oversee and work in the WWM booth
c.  Secure supplies, inventory, and set up booth
d.  Social media support for the week
5.  Leadership Development
a.  Assist in other areas such as Accredited Ministry Development (AMD) as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other word processing programs and general computer skills.

SALARY
Dependent on experience and education.

ADMISSIONS & MARKETING COORDINATOR: Accredited Ministries Department
RESPONSIBLE TO
Director of AMD

DESCRIPTION
The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the admissions processes and records of the Accredited Ministry Development department. The Coordinator will keep track of the progress of each prospective student in the admissions process and will communicate with students to make sure admissions documents are collected and sent to partnering institutions in a timely manner. The Coordinator will also be responsible for producing marketing documents, brochures, and publications and disseminating them to prospective students, educational partners and COGOP leadership. The Coordinator will manage the AMD website and develop and maintain a marketing strategy for AMD programs. The Coordinator will report to the Director of Accredited Ministries Development.

OBJECTIVE
The Editorial Assistant will assist the Director of Communications in implementing an overall communications plan for the International Offices, assist in marketing, social and new media promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should have strong communication skills in English and Spanish, both in correspondence and on the telephone. This person should be able to adapt quickly to change, be able to multitask, and do data entry as well as be willing to travel to promote AMD programs as needed. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as knowledge of web design and maintenance. Must demonstrate an ability to collaborate with educational and ministry partners. Professional marketing, website, and/or media experience a plus. Master’s degree in Bible/Theology/Ministry or Marketing preferred. Must be available to begin on or soon after June 1, 2019.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Heritage Ministries
RESPONSIBLE TO
Heritage Ministries Coordinator / Curriculum Editor

DESCRIPTION
Manage Heritage Ministries office and help with curriculum responsibilities. Organizing, budgeting, payables, scheduling, tracking print jobs, clerical duties, editorial help, fundraising design and execution, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should be highly organized and efficient with time management. Able to multi-task and stay on task, while helping others stay on task, as well. Should enjoy planning, scheduling, and organizing. Must be computer savvy with knowledge of Word and Excel, and comfortable learning new programs quickly. An eye for design would also be helpful. Should be able to communicate clearly and effectively through the written word and have some ability to edit, write, and proof printed materials.

Assistant to Executive Director: Leadership Development and Discipleship

  • Our focus is on providing applicable and accessible content, tools, and resources to leaders serving within the Church of God of Prophecy throughout the world

DESCRIPTION
As the assistant to the executive director your role is to maintain a positive and well-organized office environment that provides good communication among staff and constituents, accessible and up-to-date records, as well as clerical support for events, content and resources sponsored by these ministries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communications. Prompt and consistent communication with constituents via mail, e-mail, website, social media, telephone, and publications. Concise and professional communication within the department.
  • Record-keeping. Records to be kept include ministry accounts and expense reports; training statistics, participant information, and issuing of certificates; ministry travel and event calendars
  • Training and event support. Provide necessary registration and instructional material for LDD and CBL trainings. Prepare equipment, supplies, and materials for various departmental meetings.
  • Relationships. Encourage the development of effective working relationships with international office leadership, LDD directors and staff, and international office personnel.

  • Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
