La iglesia era un edificio de madera situado en la Avenida 23 y la calle Cody. Seg\u00fan los registros, el obispo Fred Beneby fue el primer pastor de la iglesia. M\u00e1s tarde, los miembros compraron una propiedad en la Avenida 22 y, finalmente, el edificio se traslad\u00f3 a ese lugar. Ah\u00ed es donde ahora se encuentran el estacionamiento y el sal\u00f3n social.    <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Los siguientes obispos sirvieron en la iglesia local durante sus primeros a\u00f1os: el obispo Theophilus Hunter, el obispo J.D. Williams, el obispo Daniel Nain y el obispo Mitchell Cooper, quien fue nombrado pastor en 1953. Junto con los miembros, el obispo Cooper construy\u00f3 la iglesia m\u00e1s grande de afrodescendientes, que es el edificio en el que la iglesia celebra sus cultos hoy en d\u00eda. El edificio de la iglesia fue consagrado en 1960. La hipoteca a 15 a\u00f1os se pag\u00f3 en cinco a\u00f1os bajo el liderazgo del obispo Cooper y su esposa, Letisha. Ellos sirvieron hasta 1963. El obispo Charles I. Mackey y su esposa sirvieron de 1963 a 1969; el obispo Lloyd G. Pratt y su esposa, Pauline, pastorearon entre 1973 y 2000; el obispo Franklyn Capron y su esposa, Lorna, pastorearon entre 2000 y 2009; y el pastor Lamont David Roberts y su esposa, Gia, pastorearon entre 2009 y 2019. Nuestros pastores actuales son Thomas Keith e Ingrid White. Llevan pastoreando desde 2019.       <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de 60 a\u00f1os, se han realizado algunas renovaciones: los pisos de madera se sustituyeron por otros nuevos, los ba\u00f1os se remodelaron y se adaptaron seg\u00fan los requisitos de la Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades, y se renovaron la cocina y las oficinas. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, los l\u00edderes de esta iglesia han sido gigantes espirituales que no solo se han destacado en el embellecimiento del edificio f\u00edsico, sino que tambi\u00e9n se han centrado en la belleza espiritual del cuerpo de Cristo. La congregaci\u00f3n de Hollywood experiment\u00f3 muchas bendiciones espirituales bajo el ministerio de cada uno de estos grandes h\u00e9roes de la fe.
