The entire time Jesus was with His disciples, not only was he giving them knowledge or helping them to apply that knowledge to their lives, but he was also helping them learn to serve others. Teaching our children to serve adds a whole new dimension to their spiritual life. They begin to realize that everything is not about them! In fact, life should not be about us at all. Jesus modeled that life lesson for all of us through his death.

KidServe exists to teach children to give back to their community and to help others. Service within the framework of discipleship is not just about giving to others. It is about serving God and bringing glory to his name by reaching out others.  Jesus made it very clear that when do something for others, we are really doing it for Him!

How do we teach children to be servants of God?  We give them opportunities to serve their community and the world, their local church, and their family and friends!

Community and World

In the Bible, God repeatedly asks us to take care of those who cannot care for themselves. Children CAN serve the community and be involved in missions!

The Local Church

We need to teach children that a church is not a building; it is the people! And children are people. Children CAN serve in their local church!

Family and Friends

Many children have parents, brothers, and sisters who do not know Christ. Often our greatest witness is through our actions. Children CAN serve their family and friends!

Since 2005, children in the Church of God of Prophecy have contributed more than $200,000 to missions and service projects around the globe! We’ve enabled ministries that tell kids about Christ in Indonesia, Kenya, Bulgari, Guatemala, Egypt, Botswana, Haiti, Rwanda, Peru, India, Venezuela, the Czech Republic, and El Salvador.

KidServe’s Winds of Change project allows you and your local children’s ministry to make a significant impact in one of the most active harvest fields presently at work in the Church of God of Prophecy. We’ve partnered with the Church of God of Prophecy National Office in Spain to help train and equip their expanding network of newly planted churches. More than a dozen new churches have been planted in the past year under the leadership of a new national overseer, Edgar Rossini. One of Bishop Rossini’s earlier priorities has been to identify and equip children’s ministry leaders to provide evangelism and outreach efforts in each of these congregations and the communities they serve.

Bishop Rossini writes, “There is great need among the children in Spain and Portugal. Families are being attacked. Faith and truth and under attack. Gender ideology and materialistic rationalism are strong waves that seek to sink our ship. We firmly believe that we need reach this generation of children and youth that are being systematically exposed to these thoughts. Children’s ministries are undoubtedly a fortification of Christ to save this generation and help families learn about faith. Our ministries will place in children’s hands the Word of Truth that will lead them to Christ, to be His disciples, to serve in their gifting and talents, to be part of the church, and share with their friends what they have received from God. Through these efforts God’s Word will be shared and glorified as in Psalm 8:2 “From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise.”

Your financial investment will aide International Children’s Ministries in providing two training programs in 2022 to develop children’s leaders and local church pastors from every congregation in Spain (and Portugal). By participating in this KidServe Project, we will help bring strategic transformation to Spain. Thank you for partnering with us!
