God does not simply give children to families; instead, He provides families with eternal souls to guide and care for. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are stewards of a gift from God.
Parents are called to disciple children at home until they are launched from their homes like arrows into the world for God’s glory. In addition, grandparents have the joy, honor, and obligation to assist in passing on the Christian faith to the next generation!
Families come in all shapes and sizes: single-parent, blended, large, and small. How family discipleship is accomplished varies from family to family and is as unique as the DNA of each home. Family discipleship isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it isn’t easy. Even the most intentional of Gospel-centered parents may be at a loss regarding how to begin. The church is responsible for coming alongside families to help them craft their approach to discipling their home.
This one-day intensive is designed to equip parents, grandparents, and other caregivers with the necessary tools to bring the gospel’s transforming power into their homes and families.
