Excitement is brewing as we finalize the third term of School of Practical and Advanced Studies (SOPAS) from the CBL Department. Our region is the first to host this third term in both ends of our vast territory. October 2011, Pastor Tim Shipley hosted the Ist third term SOPAS in Des Moines Iowa. January 2012, Pastor Scott Josifek hosted the 2nd III term SOPAS in Denver Colorado. Both English and Spanish classes were taught and God truly blessed the anointed teaching of the CBL instructors and adjunct instructors presenting.
One of the classes has been a thought embedded in my heart by the Holy Spirit, that of "mentorship and discipling." That class was taught, and many young people were present and accepted a call to go forth for the Lord and the Church of God of Prophecy. Up to this point, we have had a total of about 100 or more attend the third term SOPAS.
From one who has pastored for 37 years, I encourage you to attend this "cutting edge" school.
