Two thousand five hundred fifty people met to celebrate our National Convention under the theme: Creating a better future with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are thankful for God’s presence and the support of His Holy Spirit at this glorious convention.
The church would not have been blessed without God’s presence. We are thankful our General Presbyter, Gabriel E. Vidal and his wife Hanny were able to visit us. We also thank Bishop David Bryan; National Overseer, Luis Ernesto Gómez and our regional overseers for their hard work during the National Convention.
We will continue to work for Venezuela, because the future of this nation is in God’s hands. Today, we find many upper rooms around the world; Venezuela is one with passionate believers praying for God to continue empowering them to increase their outreach to the communities, destroy the schemes of darkness, rescue the lost, and continue establishing new churches where the light of Gospel of Jesus Christ will shine bright.
During the convention we honored several brothers and sisters for their work in ministry, faithfulness and responsibility throughout the years. We honored Sister Ana Ramírez for her excellent work in pastoral ministry. We honored Sister Coromoto Rengifo for her years of service in administrative work, and we honored Brother Juan Ramírez for his work in various capacities. We thank the Lord for His wisdom and divine guidance, and for the wonderful commitment of our brothers and sisters to our Father and the brothers and sisters they serve. God bless them abundantly.
Pastor Ramón Gómez was ordained a bishop for his sacrifice and devotion to ministry for many years in the church. We baptized 20 people Saturday morning. We also won 35 souls for the Lord and added three people to the church membership. These people will be working with some new churches near the Caracas area. We are continuously reaching new communities for the Kingdom.
