Dr. Michelle Anthony is the vice president of learning resources and the family ministry architect at David C Cook. She is the author of Spiritual Parenting, Dreaming of More for the Next Generation, A Theology of Family Ministry, The Big God Story, and her new book to be released in January 2015, Becoming a Spiritually Formed Family. Michelle has graduate degrees in Christian Education, Theology, and Leadership, and over 25 years of church ministry experience as a children’s and family pastor. Kim Batson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She works in the mental health field as a Program Manager for the Mental Health Cooperative. She has spent the last 16 years at MHC focusing on leadership development. Kim is a member of the Women of Grace Advisory Council for Women’s Ministry and also serves as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator in Tennessee. Kim sees the importance of mentoring and developing leaders. Kim has a passion for people and has dedicated her life to the ministry of children and developing leaders.
Brian founded High Voltage Kids Ministry Resources in 1998, which creates and provides Kids Church Curriculum, Music, Games, Videos, and more to churches around the world.
Brian has had the privilege of speaking at many Kidmin Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, etc. He has a passion for passing on what God has enabled him to learn from his years of ministry and learning from other Kidmin Leaders!
He is the author of “I Blew It!”, a Kidmin Leadership book that helps others avoid the biggest mistakes in Kids Ministry, “Kidminnovation”, and e-book that challenges every Kidmin Leader to discover the creativity that lives inside them, and “Talk Now And Later”, a book to help parents lead their kids through life’s most difficult topics . Brian and his wife, Cherith, have two amazing children – Ashton (daughter – age 16) and Jordan (son – age 14). He loves running, hiking, and watching his favorite sports teams: the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys!
Karrie Endecott lives in Houston, Texas with her husband, 4 daughters and one granddaughter. She has been a part of ICM since the inception as a student and then as a presenter. She has served as a children’s pastor for 15 years. Karrie served as a Regional Children’s Director for the Midwest region and has traveled overseas to teach at International Institutes of Children’s Ministry with Kathy Creasy. She currently is the children’s pastor at The Fellowship of Texas City.
Dale Hudson has been in Children’s Ministry for over 23 years. He is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach, Florida. Christ Fellowship has 6 campuses and ministers to over 19,000 people on weekends. Dale leads a Children’s Ministry staff team of over 40 and a volunteer team of over 1,700.
He has also written dozens of articles for magazines. He currently writes the “Leading Volunteers” column for Children’s Ministry Magazine. His Children’s Ministry articles are featured at www.churchleaders.com and www.cmbraintrust.com.
Dale was named one of the top 20 influencers in Children’s Ministry. His ministry has been featured in numerous reports including Time magazine, Christianity Today magazine, and an ABC national television special called “The Changing Face of Worship.”
Dale’s passion is helping children and families discover God’s life-changing grace. He is also passionate about encouraging and equipping Children’s Ministry leaders.
Dale’s greatest joy is his family. He and his wife, Pamela, have been married for 23 years. They have two sons. Josh is married. Caleb is 18 and is a senior in high school.
Sandy Knowles has served as a Children’s Pastor for over 14 years at churches in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama. She is currently the Children’s Pastor at Hackleburg Community Church in Hackleburg, Alabama, and works with the Alabama Regional Office as a Children’s Ministry liaison assisting in the training and development of children’s ministry leaders and programs throughout the state.
Sandy has also served on the International Children’s Ministry Task Force for the Church of God of Prophecy since 2003, and has travelled throughout the United States and internationally in Ukraine, Africa, and England training those who work with children in churches, orphanages, and other agencies in those countries.
Pastor Sandy holds a Bachelor of Theology degree and has been a licensed/ordained minister in the Church of God of Prophecy for over 23 years. She has 2 children – daughter Jordan (24) and son Jeremy (19) – and is the proud grandmother of Madison Hope (3), Emily Grace (2), and Chloe Faith (1). She and her husband, Curt, just celebrated their 30th Anniversary on August 11th of this year.
Having served in ministry for 24 years, Shaun has done just about everything there is to do in children’s ministry. Presently, he and his wife serve as Preschool Pastors of the Peerless Road Church, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He also serves as Media and Special Projects Coordinator at the Church of God of Prophecy International Offices also in Cleveland.
Shaun is married to his best friend, Stephanie and they live in Cleveland, Tennessee where they are the parents to three beautiful little girls, Reagan, Madison, and Kennedy. Shaun holds a MBA in Marketing from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee and he is a credentialed minister with the Church of God of Prophecy.
Melissa is the children’s pastor at Central Community Church in Chatsworth, Georgia. She has a B.S. degree in Elementary Math and Science from Lee University and an M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. Melissa has been married to Scott Minter for 17 years. They are the proud parents of Laura, age 12, and Leah, age 11. Melissa serves on the task force for children’s ministry at the International Offices. At the 2014 Assembly for Children in Orlando, Florida, Melissa was responsible for writing the curriculum and directing the morning ministry to kids. Her heart and passion is to invite to follow Jesus all of their life!
Yancy is a song-writer and performer who responded to a need for praise tunes to accompany the preschool program at her local church. These recordings became known as the “Little Praise Party” series. The series is filled with cartoon characters to help kids visualize the words and stories within the songs.
Yancy is also passionate about teaching and can be found leading praise workshops at various conferences. She also writes a column in KidzMatter magazine centered around worship for children.
Yancy Ministries (led by Yancy) exists to make Jesus loud, whether that’s through songs, videos, devotionals, training or family concerts.
