Youth Mission Team Returns to Ecuador
The following report has been received by Theri and Rodrigo Santos, missionaries serving in Ecuador:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!” – Isaiah 6:8
Dear friends and family,
Greetings from Ecuador! May the love of our Lord Jesus keep you always! It is a privilege to serve the Lord and see His faithfulness in our ministry. Every year in Guayaquil we receive a Youth Missions Team from Tennessee. This year we had a group of 26 persons from various states that came to minister, support and observe what God is doing in Ecuador. God is moving in the hearts of those who have come to visit and has now called some of them to full time missions service. Now they are saying as Isaiah, “Here I am. Send me!” I remember clearly the moment that the Lord called me to be a missionary. I was 14 and our church had a missions convention. I recall being at the altar and the Lord speaking to my heart that I was to serve Him in Latin America. It is a blessing to see that God is still calling His people to take that step of faith and obedience. Maybe God isn ́t calling you to be a missionary in a foreign land, but He has a special call for each one of us, right where we are. All we have to do is obey His voice and do His will.
Theri Santos and her family are solely supported by mission efforts of our COGOP members and friends. Local Churches can help support this missionary in Ecuador through Project Giving (HPL2). And, individuals can assist them through Helping Hand (HH). Please designate any gift of love as follows: Ecuador – Santos, Missionaries.
