The Church of God of Prophecy in Haiti celebrated its Diamond Anniversary Celebration this past month as over 37,900 delegates gathered for the 75th National Convention. During the weeklong celebration, 312 people were baptized, 27 weddings were performed, and 105 people were reported as converted.
National Overseer, Jean-Claude Dorlean writes, “I want to take benefit of this moment to thank all our Harvest Partners and donors for their prayers and loving donations to Haiti. Most especially since the earthquake in 2010, I want to tell you that your donations have done a lot of things to rebuild the COGOP in Haiti. You have served us faithfully in remembering the words of our Lord Jesus Himself when He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’ (Acts 20:35). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued prayers and support.
- The church in city of Raymond, located in the Northwest, has had many items completed but quite a lot remains to be done. Pending projects include finishing the roof, installing windows, doors, and the floor. An estimated cost of $5,000 (USD) would help us to complete this church.
- Pastor Durosier Milton, who died from cancer in 2012, gave the property for the church in Fort Liberte, located in the Northeast. This church will be one of the largest COGOP structures in the Northeast. The members gather now under a tent because much remains to be completed, such as the concrete, the roof, the floor, the doors, windows, etc. An estimated $30,000 (USD) would help our people complete this worthy project.
Thank you, Harvest Partners, for your faithfulness in prayers, encouragements, and loving support to the ministry in Haiti. It is greatly appreciated. Please be assured that you have made a tremendous impact for the Kingdom of God in this nation.
