07-14-18 FaithLine Devotion THE ABSOLUTE IMPORTANCE OF FAITH…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “Faith is being sure of WHAT WE HOPE FOR. It is being certain of WHAT WE DO NOT SEE.(Heb. 11:1)

This verse tells us that faith is assurance that we will receive the things for which we hope. The Bible has promises for blessings in this life if we obey God, and it also contains promises for eternal life in the kingdom of God. Faith is the assurance that we will receive those promises.

“…without faith IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him. (Heb 11:6)

Why is this so?

For by grace YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.(Eph 2:8-9) Christians are mindful that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. Faith is gift of God, so that no one can boast. But Christians should not forget the importance of faith after their conversion. It is by faith that we are saved… but it is also by faith that we carry on the work of the Lord. No faith, no salvation!

“…when the Son of Man comes, WILL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH?” (Luke 18:8)

Jesus made a great promise of what we would be doing by faith “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever BELIEVES [Has Faith] IN ME will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I WILL DO IT.(John 14:12-14)

SO, IS JESUS SEEING FAITH AT WORK, NOW???

FaithLine, the bible says: “…when the Son of Man comes, WILL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH?”

07-13-18 Loved One’s Devotion MAKE SURE YOUR THINKING RIGHT…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “THE LORD REIGNS FOREVER; he has established his throne for judgment. He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity. The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, FOR YOU, LORD, HAVE NEVER FORSAKEN THOSE WHO 1SEEK YOU. (Psa. 9:7-10) 1Dârash: The pictorial image of making a well-worn path to a particular place.

We should be making a well-worn path to our place of prayer where we diligently seek the Lord for our purpose. We may totally trust in the Lord because He will always be there and will never forsake us as long as we continually seek Him…

For He says, “…surely I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end of the age.” (Matt. 28:20) The devil will remind us of this fact so we will ease up on our necessity of continually seeking the Lord. Remember the word… Now DEVOTE YOUR HEART AND SOUL to seeking the LORD your God…” (1Ch 22:19) Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, KEEP SEEKING THE THINGS ABOVE, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. SET YOUR MIND on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.(Col 3:1-2)

THE 1ST COMMANDMENT, LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR MIND

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] “Now DEVOTE YOUR HEART AND SOUL to seeking the LORD your God…” !!!That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh

07-12-18 Loved One’s Devotion THE POWER OF CHILD-LIKENESS…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in ALL THE EARTH! You have set your glory in the heavens. THROUGH THE PRAISE OF CHILDREN AND INFANTS YOU HAVE ESTABLISHED A STRONGHOLD AGAINST YOUR ENEMIES, to silence the foe and the avenger.(Psa. 8:1-4)

Who has the greater power, a child full of pure faith or us grownups trying to believe? I remember when my oldest daughter, Wendy was about 9 years old she came to me and told me the Lord had shown her that my aunt had fallen and “broke something” she said, “I prayed for her and she is OK now.” I called and sure enough my aunt had fallen and they thought she broke her hip but when they checked her at the hospital, she was alright. I remember many other miraculous incidences with my children to assure me of the authenticity of Psalms 8.

“…calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child IS THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.(Matt. 18:2-4)

IT IS OUR CHILDLIKENESS THAT ALLOWS GOD TO USE US…

07-11-18 Loved One’s Devotion GOD BACKS UP HIS WORD WITH POWER…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve STOOD BEFORE ME, SAYING, Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you’…But as the sailors were trying to escape from the shipPaul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Unless these men remain in the ship, you yourselves cannot be saved. Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the ship’s boat and let it fall away. (Act 27:23-32)

Here was a prisoner on board a ship with experienced sailors and he says “stay on this sinking ship” and they obey, why? When the Word of God is spoken it is “…living, powerful and sharp…” (Heb. 4:12). It is “…the sword of the spirit…” (Eph. 6:17). If we present the Word, believe the Word and trust in the Word we will experience the POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD. That  means the words coming out of our mouths will be full of power and “…will not returnempty, but will accomplish what I [God] desire…” (Isa. 55:11)

Not only this but John saw Jesus and described His being: “…there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and TrueHe is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is THE WORD OF GOD.(Rev. 19:11-13)

WE MUST BELIEVE, LIVE AND SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” !!!That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh

07-10-18 Loved One’s Devotion HOLY, HOLY, HOLY…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “I SAW THE LORD, HIGH AND EXALTED, SEATED ON A THRONE; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphimcalling to one another: “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LORD ALMIGHTY; the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.(Isa. 6:1-4)

Isaiah said: “I saw the Lord” and He is not just Holy but HOLY, HOLY, HOLY…and the WHOLE EARTH is full of God’s glory! By honestly confessing his feeling of being unworthy to look upon God, God sends his angels to purify Isaiah’s soul. It’s significant that the part of Isaiah’s body that the angel touched was his lips since Isaiah would begin speaking prophetic messages from God to us after experiencing this vision and angelic encounter. The angel cleansed, strengthened, and encouraged Isaiah so that Isaiah could call others to turn to God for the help they needed in their own lives.

“…the four living creatures never stop saying, “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LORD GOD WHO RULES OVER ALL. HE WAS, and HE IS, and HE IS TO COME.” The living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to the One who sits on the throne and who lives FOR EVER AND EVER.(Rev. 4:8-9)

These living creatures have one eternal purpose, to worship and praise God for ever and ever. Isaiah saw them almost 1,000 years before John. It would be good for us to fall on our knees and cry Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God almighty

AWESOME LORD, YOU WERE, ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE

07-09-18 Loved One’s Devotion ENLIGHTENED AND PURIFIED FOR GOD’S PURPOSE…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Here is the message we have heard1GOD IS LIGHT. There is no darkness in Him at all. Suppose we say that we share life with God but still walk in the darkness. Then we are lying. We are not living by the truth. But SUPPOSE WE WALK IN THE LIGHT, JUST AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT. Then we share life with one another. And the blood of Jesus, his Son, makes us pure from all sinGod is faithful and fair. If we admit that we have sinned, he will forgive us our sins. He will forgive every wrong thing we have done. HE WILL MAKE US PURE.(1 John 1:5-10) 1phós: light, especially in terms of its results, what it reveals.

God is not just the kind of light that makes things brighter but He is a revealing light. There is so much that we do not know, God reveals hidden things to us so we will know what we should do. When God reveals our purpose He expects us, enables us, and empowers us to complete that purpose. What is so wonderful is that we go forgiven and pure for our purpose…

STUDY EARNESTLY TO PRESENT YOURSELF APPROVED TO GOD
