11-10-17 Loved One’s Devotion REVEALED BY HIS SPIRIT…

My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”– the things God has prepared for those who love him– these are the things God has REVEALED TO US BY HIS SPIRIT. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God…“ (1 Corin. 2:9-10)

When I was gloriously saved I was working as a design engineering in a very competitive marketplace. I was blessed to have designed and patent systems for the Graphic Arts Industry, so as I began, for the first time at age 29, to study the bible, I felt I could understand because of my intellectual abilities. As I studied my feeling was that I had a good understanding, then I arrived at Romans 6, discovering that I had no idea what it was talking about. So, I asked the Lord TO REVEAL TO ME WHAT THE MEANING WAS. He led me to the above scripture!

“What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, SO THAT WE MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD HAS FREELY GIVEN US. (1 Corin. 2:12)

Something awesome happened to me as I began seeking my Abba Father for divine revelation, He opened my understanding to His word and continues to do so each day. There is an infinite source of revelation, all from THE LOVING AND LIVING WORD OF GOD!

WE OURSELVES ARE GOD’S TEMPLE AND GOD’S SPIRIT DWELLS WITHIN IN US!

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] “these are the things God has REVEALED TO US BY HIS SPIRIT…” !!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh

11-10-17 FaithLine Devotion REVEALED BY HIS SPIRIT…

My dear brothers and sisters, dedicating your lives to singing for Jesus: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”– the things God has prepared for those who love him– these are the things God has REVEALED TO US BY HIS SPIRIT. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God… (1 Corin. 2:9-10)

Take note, there are wonderful things which God hath prepared for those of us who love him, and wait for him. There are such awesome things prepared for our future life, things which sense cannot discover, present information cannot deliver to our ears, or can enter our hearts. Life and immortality are brought to light through the gospel, 2Tim. 1:10. But the apostle speaks here of the subject-matter of the divine revelation concerning the gospel!

“…the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight…The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” (1 Corin. 3:18-20)

Don’t you know that YOU YOURSELVES ARE GOD’S TEMPLE and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst…YOU TOGETHER ARE THAT TEMPLE. (1 Corin. 3:16-17)

Christ by his Spirit dwells in all of us. We are sacred to God! If we are the temples of God, we must do nothing that shall separate ourselves from him, we cannot corrupt and pollute ourselves, and in so doing make ourselves unfit for his use; and we must not listen to doctrine that would seduce us to any ungodly practices!

11-09-17 Loved One’s Devotion NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD…

  • My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day:
  • ♫What can wash away my sins,
  • Nothing but the blood of Jesus
  • Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    ,
  • Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

“…when Christ appeared as a high priest…He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands…THROUGH HIS OWN BLOOD, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption…THE BLOOD OF CHRIST…will…CLEANSE YOUR CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS to serve the living God?(Heb. 9:11-14)

Let’s thank Jesus for shedding His blood, for our redemption and sanctification…

“He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And just as it is APPOINTED FOR MAN TO DIE ONCE, AND AFTER THAT COMES JUDGMENT, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but TO SAVE THOSE WHO ARE EAGERLY WAITING FOR HIM.” (Heb. 9:26-28)

Jesus is eagerly waiting to raise us up and give us eternal life!

THE BLOOD OF CHRIST WILL CLEANSE OUR CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS

11-08-17 Loved One’s Devotion I AM FORGIVEN…

My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in sin. In the Law Moses COMMANDED US TO STONE SUCH WOMEN. NOW WHAT DO YOU SAY?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to WRITE ON THE GROUND WITH HIS FINGER. (John 8:3-6)

Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground, but He was really “writing” in their hearts, He was revealing their sins to them. Then He said:

“Let any one of you WHO IS WITHOUT SIN be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8:7)

Of course none of them were without sin so they began to walk away! I’m so glad Jesus knows the hearts of those who would do us harm and He can speak to their hearts!

“Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and LEAVE YOURLIFE OF SIN.” (John 8:10-11)

Jesus will not condemn us, although we have sinned, if we will go and sin no more. He will not condemn us for our former rebellions, if we will lay down our sins and return to our commitment to follow Him. Jesus’ favour to us is the remission of our sins, and this should be a divine motivation for us TO GO AND SIN NO MORE!

WHEN WE TURN TO THE LORD, HE WILL HAVE MERCY ON US, FOR HE WILL FREELY PARDON!

Jesus told His disciples: “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS WILL BE PREACHED IN HIS NAME TO ALL NATIONS…” (Luke 24:46-48) Repentance: metanoia: turning away and forsaking, the divine changing of one’s mind. Forgiveness: aphesis: a dismissal, release, to be pardoned! So, when we turn away and forsake our sins, we will be pardoned or released from the consequences of sin. Jesus suffered and shed His blood to make this available to us!!!

“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses COMMANDED US TO STONE SUCH WOMEN. NOW WHAT DO YOU SAY?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and HE WILL HAVE MERCY ON THEM, and to our God, for HE WILL FREELY PARDON.” (Isaiah 55:7)

This kind discovery of God’s good-will to the children of men is not to just to the Jew or to the Gentile, to the Old Testament or to the New. No, both the teachings and the promises are here given TO ALL, TO EVERYONE THAT IS HUNGRY FOR AND THIRSTS AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS!

WHEN WE TURN TO THE LORD, HE WILL HAVE MERCY ON US, FOR HE WILL FREELY PARDON!

11-07-17 Loved One’s Devotion GIVING STRENGTH TO THE WEARY…

[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day:DO YOU NOT KNOW? HAVE YOU NOT HEARD? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY AND INCREASES THE POWER OF THE WEAK.” (Isa. 40:28-29)

He is himself an almighty God. He is the everlasting God, even Yahweh. He was from eternity; he will be to eternity; therefore, with him there is no insufficiency, no deterioration. He exists by himself, and therefore all his perfections are unlimited. He is without beginning or ending, and as a result with Him there is no change. He is also the Creator of the whole earth and all that is in it. He therefore is the rightful owner and ruler of all!

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. They will SOAR on wings like eagles; they will RUN and not grow weary, they will WALK and not be faint.” (Isa 40:30-31)

WE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD WILL BE RENEWED IN OUR STRENGTH.
