MEDITATING ON THE MASTER…

“I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. MAY MY MEDITATION BE PLEASING TO HIM, as I rejoice in the LORD.” (Psa. 104:33-34)

I will praise you Lord as YHWH (a Tetragrammaton and contains no vowels); this was the name that God was first revealed by. This name now is commonly used as Yahweh is best known from the famous “I AM” interaction with Moses (Exodus 3) and references the fact that God HAS ALWAYS EXISTED and WILL ALWAYS EXIST. The significance of the name Yahweh is that it is confirming God’s existence but most importantly His presence. Yahweh Elohim is the Creator, and as our God, a God in covenant with us, and this not now only, but as long as we live, and while we have our being.” Because we have our being from God, and depend upon him for the continual support of our lives, as long as we live we must continue to praise God; and when we have no life, no being, on earth, we hope to have a BETTER LIFE and BETTER BEING in a BETTER WORLD and there to be doing this work in a BETTER MANNER and in BETTER COMPANY!

“…without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that HE REWARDS THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM.” (Heb. 11:6)

Our Abba Father loves us so much that He REWARDS us for thoroughly seeking to know Him better!

“Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation) of the things hoped for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [perceived as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. (Heb. 11:1) AMP

Thank you, Abba Father, for seeing to it that we may fully know you!

“…THE PEACE OF GOD, which transcends all understanding, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:6-8)

THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD OUR HEARTS AND OUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS!

HAVING FAITH TO HOLD ON…

“…DO NOT 1THROW AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE, which has a great reward… 1apoballō: to discard; or to get rid of something no longer desired.

Blind Bartimaeus threw away his garment, (Mark 10:50) which indicated he was blind, when Jesus called him, because he knew Jesus would heal him. The devil tries to convince us to THROW AWAY OUR CONFIDENCE because it is no longer useful to us.

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God YOU MAY RECEIVE WHAT IS PROMISED.

We must diligently hold on to our confidence in Christ to receive THE PROMISED PRIZE

For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one WILL COME AND WILL NOT DELAY; but my righteous one shall LIVE BY FAITH, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

We must live by faith and “know” that Jesus is coming back to catch us away…

But we are not of those who 2shrink back and are destroyed, but of those WHO HAVE FAITH AND PRESERVE THEIR SOULS.” (Heb. 10:35-39) 2hupostolē: timidly retreating.

Let’s proclaim that we will NOT RETREAT TIMIDLY but boldly preserve our souls in faith.

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THRU CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH…

11-12-17 Loved One’s Devotion GOD’S WONDERFUL PEACE!

My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “LORD, you will give PERFECT PEACE to anyone who commits himself to be faithful to you. That’s because HE TRUSTS IN YOU.” (Isa. 26:3)

Inward peace, outward peace, peace with God, peace of conscience, peace at all times, under all events; Our Abba Father shall put this peace in our minds, and we will keep it in our possession, as long as our mind is ‘stayed’ (to lean upon or take hold of) on God, demonstrating our trust in him!

“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE YOU. I do not give to you as the world gives. DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED AND DO NOT BE AFRAID.” (John 14:25-27)

We are so very blessed to possess this wonderful peace of God living IN US! It is described as PERFECT PEACE!

IN PEACE WE WILL LIE DOWN AND SLEEP, FOR YOU ALONE, LORD, MAKE US DWELL IN SAFETY.

It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we kept from evil, but we must: Trust in the LORD with ALL YOUR HEART, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will MAKE STRAIGHT YOUR PATHS.” (Prov. 3:5-6)

[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Let US HOLD 1FAST THE CONFESSION OF OUR HOPE WITHOUT 2WAVERING, for He who promised is faithful; 1katechō: to have in full and secure possession2Aklinēs: not declining, steady.

The writer is telling us that we must steadily and securely hold the confession of our hope in Jesus Christ our Lord, because the devil will do all he can to TAKE THAT HOPE AWAY FROM US…

It is crystal clear in this text, that God means for us to aim consciously at something significant for our day. God’s revealed will for us is that when we get up in the morning, we don’t drift aimlessly through the day letting mere circumstances alone dictate what we do, but that we aim at something. Aimlessness is like lifelessness. Dead leaves in the back yard may move around more than anything else — The wind blows, they go whatever way it’s blowing. They tumble, they bounce, they skip, they press against a fence, but they have no aim whatsoever. They are full of motion and empty of life. So, Lord, show me what you would have me do today?
