06-29-17 Loved Ones Devotion THE “BRANCH”

[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day“…Thus, says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, the man whose name is THE BRANCH: for he shall branch out from his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD.” (Zech. 6:12)

[THE BRANCH SHALL GROW UP OUT OF HIS PLACE, out of Bethlehem the city of David, the place appointed for His birth; though His earthly family be a root in a dry ground, yet this branch shall spring out just like in the spring, when the sun returns, the flowers spring out of the roots, in which they lay buried out of sight and out of mind, for just the right time!]

“From the fig tree learn its lesson: AS SOON AS ITS BRANCH BECOMES TENDER and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that HE IS NEAR, at the very gates.” (Matt. 24:32-33)

[The fig-trees that are budding and blossoming are a sign of summer; for the trees of the field, know their appointed time. Therefore, when God begins to fulfil prophecies, He will make it all come to pass!]

“I am THE TRUE VINE, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine; [now] YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.” (John 15:1-2, 5)

[Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and KaleighNow, we are the branches; for what purpose? To bear fruit!]

ABIDE IN ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” (John 15:4)

[To ABIDE: the Greek word menō: a state of relationship with anticipation of doing His will. So, we must continue with Jesus, knowing He is going to do something with us!]

“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you FRIENDS, for all that I have heard from my Father I HAVE MADE KNOWN TO YOU. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that YOUR FRUIT SHOULD ABIDE, so that WHATEVER YOU ASK the Father in my name, HE MAY GIVE IT TO YOU.” (John 15:15-16)

[The reason Jesus says this is: whatever we need to bring forth fruit He will provide!] “…so that whatever you ask in my name THE FATHER WILL GIVE YOU.” (John 15:16)

WHATEVER WE ASK THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME, HE WILL GIVE IT TO US, SO WE MAY BEAR FRUIT!

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that YOUR FRUIT SHOULD ABIDE, so that WHATEVER YOU ASK the Father in my name, HE MAY GIVE IT TO YOU.” (!!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
