05-19-17 Devotion (For my loved ones)

[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every dayDavid had just brought the Arc of the Covenant (which represented the presence of the Lord), and placed it in the special Tabernacle! Now they were celebrating the Divine presence of the Lord God Almighty!]

“Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; SEEK HIS FACE ALWAYS.” (1 Chron. 16:9-11)

[The longing and fervent desire of our hearts to God is (the same desire a child has toward their earthly father), “my face is to you Lord; that is, I am diligently seeking You, and nothing else, and from now I will seek You permanently until my last breath, and until I find what I am seeking for”!]

“My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” YOUR FACE, LORD, I WILL SEEK.” (Psa. 27:8)

[This is a part of the thanksgiving psalm which David, by the Spirit, composed, and delivered to the chief musician, to be sung upon the incident of the public entry of the ark into the tent prepared for it. Some think he appointed this hymn to be daily used in the temple service!]

“Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For GREAT IS THE LORD and most worthy of praise; HE IS TO BE FEARED ABOVE ALL GODS.” (1 Chron. 16:23-25)

[This Psalm was composed before by David, but was now first delivered for the use in the Tabernacle!]

“Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name…WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE SPLENDOR [magnificence] OF HIS HOLINESS. Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, THE LORD REIGNS!” (1 Chron. 16:29-31)

[Now we have a new place of worship, the same awesome God, but a new tabernacle because Our Abba Father:] “…raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named…God placed all things under his feet and APPOINTED HIM TO BE HEAD OVER EVERYTHING FOR THE CHURCH, WHICH IS HIS BODY, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” (Eph. 1:20-23)

[So what do we do now?]

“…let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, NOT GIVING UP MEETING TOGETHER, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Heb. 10:24-25)

[So now, where is God’s Tabernacle, Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh?]

“Do you not know that YOUR BODIES ARE TEMPLES of the Holy Spirit, WHO IS IN YOU, whom you have received from God? YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; you were bought at a price. THEREFORE, HONOR GOD WITH YOUR BODIES.” (1 Corin. 6:19-20)

OUR ABBA FATHER WANTS A PERMANENT AND INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH US!

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that:

WE MUST HONOR GOD WITH OUR BODIES, WHICH ARE HIS TEMPLES, AS WE SEEK HIS FACE!

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says: Do you not know that YOUR BODIES ARE TEMPLES of the Holy Spirit, WHO IS IN YOU, whom you have received from God? YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; you were bought at a price.”!!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
