Dr. Douglas R. Stephenson will be teaching an intensive two-day Community Service Chaplaincy (CSC) course prior to the Assembly in Chattanooga, Tennessee, July 16 and 17, 2018 at the Chattanooga Convention Center beginning at 8 AM Monday and ending Tuesday evening with graduation and certification. The course is open to all ordained ministers and their spouses.
This instruction will prepare you to become Community Chaplains to minister to persons who are incarcerated, emotionally, mentally or physically ill, or experiencing other crisis situations. This course will be a hybrid of the CSC 1 and 2 courses taught previously. For pastors who have had difficulty getting into jails and prisons in the past, this training will certify you as a chaplain and provide you greater access in these situations.
The cost of the training is $200 per person. In the past these courses have cost as much as $360. We need to have a minimum number of 16 students for the course to proceed. Please register for the course NLT 1 July 2018. Go to our Chaplaincy Ministries website: ichaplains.com and complete the registration form and send in your fees of $200 each to 211 Columbia Avenue, Cedartown, GA 30125. Chaplains who have completed CSC 1 and 2 may monitor the course for $15. For more information contact Dr. Stephenson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 423-432-2715 or 678-861-5238.
