Call to Warfare
Continues
Fall Regional Ladies Retreats continue in North America with
the Rocky Mountains conference hosted by the Mid-West and Northwest
Territories. Almost doubling our
expectations in attendance, women converged on the Cheyenne Resort and Country
Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado from the states of Colorado, Iowa, Montana,
Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, with at least one
representative attending from Guatemala.
The retreat began with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in
the Friday evening service and in the small prayer groups. Saturday morning,
speakers Janet Lee (Sheridan, Wyoming) and Donna Howard (Odenville, Alabama),
and worship leader Pam Murkerson (Seattle, Washington) ministered in liberty
and led perhaps one of the deepest and most celebrative opportunities for
worship I can remember in the Rocky Mountain region.
Saturday afternoon provided a free time for the women to fellowship
and enjoy the facilities at the country club and surrounding shopping areas.
Saturday evening brought us together again to learn from the Word of God and
pray in unity for God’s will to be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Sunday morning brought a surprise as a beautiful blanket of
snow covered the Rockies and a blanket of anointing covered us. In our final
service together the Lord reminded us of the Spiritual freshness and renewal
that comes as a result of our Awakening to the Call to Warfare in this day.
Three more North American fall retreats are scheduled for
November in Branson, Missouri, Lake Barkley, Kentucky and Fort Walton Beach,
Florida. We are grateful for your prayers as we move forward through this
season of ministry and opportunity.
