Women’s Ministries was excitedly involved in the recent
International Assembly in Nashville, Tennessee.
One
tremendous service ministry which the Women’s Ministries sponsored was the Mission Clothes Closet, which provided
clothing, toiletries, materials, and other supplies to our mission
workers. This event is always a
special blessing to those working and “shopping” there. We give special thanks to Londa
Richardson and her team from Tennessee (Coordinators–2008) and all the volunteers
who made this huge job more manageable and serviceable.
Women’s Ministries also sponsored a Mission Breakfast which
helped increase mission awareness among Assembly delegates. This year’s breakfast enjoyed the participation
of the national mission wives as well as many of our national overseers who
hosted the tables and testified of the miraculous works of harvest ministry in
their areas of the world.
Finally, Women’s Ministries hosted a State/Regional/National
luncheon to honor and thank leaders and workers throughout the world for their
investment in the lives of women around the world. Local leaders joined this
time of fellowship, networking, and vision casting for a meeting that enjoyed
the fresh visitation of the Holy Spirit.
We rejoice with others from around the world for the
overwhelming blessing and habitation of the Holy Spirit during the
International Assembly 2008.
