News from North America
EVERYONE CAN be a
part of Church Planting! We have
just received notice of another new church being organized in North
America. This church was organized
in the Midwest Region. Overseer
Madrid was out of town at this writing, a written report with information of
the city where this church was organized will follow. This brings our total to
47 churches organized since the 2006 International General Assembly.

Illinois/Wisconsin Region
On April 4th and 5th sixty one
ministers, companions, and leaders met for a wonderful time with the Lord. Special thanks to Bishop Fred and
Sister Betty fisher for the anointed teaching and preaching. It was a true time of refreshing. We worshipped, prayed, laughed,
rejoiced and dined in sweet fellowship.
As several stated, “This is just what we needed!” We have received cards, calls and
testimonies about blessings received during this time.
A special thanks goes to the wonderful staff that made this
possible. One person cannot do
this alone. Thank you to those who
boosted and worked to help others come.
Glorious Life Worship
Center, Blue Island, Illinois—“Wounded Women Win” was the theme for our
Women’s All Day Retreat directed by Leila Newman. The church was packed with women who were ready to worship
and praise the Lord—and they did!
Sister Newman also taught an anointed class on Wounded Women that
blessed everyone. Many came forth
to receive a healing touch and deliverance from past hurts. “Let them praise his name in the dance,
let them sing praises unto him…”

Necedah, Illinois
Youth Center— “Ask and it shall be given!” We needed a DVD player for our youth center. When we went to Wal-mart hoping to get
this donated, the Lord had more than a DVD player for us! Wal-mart considered our needs and
ultimately gave the Cornerstone Youth Center a check for two thousand
dollars! Two days later the village
of Necedah’s mayor collected enough money from local businesses to get a
fifteen passenger van for Cornerstone.
The Cornerstone Youth Center has been an act of faith from the
beginning, and we thank the Lord for the way He has supplied our needs and
blessed this ministry. What a
mighty God we serve! —Pastor Bob and Arlie Grignon
IOU (Idaho, Oregon, and
Utah) Region—
Overseer Dr. Wallace Pratt writes in the region’s bi-monthly
publication, Vision Sentinel…
“As the Regional Overseer, I along with my wife Judy, get to
visit some of the loveliest people that anyone ever gets to enjoy and have
fellowship with. We have been
touched by the great move of the Spirit in churches across this region. After Palm Sunday and Easter, we were
blessed to get reports of victory and excitement from Salt Lake City, and St.
George, Utah; from Boise, Caldwell World Harvest and Nampa, Idaho; and from
Hermiston, Stayton, North Salem, and Dallas, Oregon.
Something great is happening! We have had over fifty experiences recorded in the last two
weeks. The all-time record
attendance was set in eight churches during the past two Sundays. On Easter at least seven churches in
the region had over 100 in their morning worship service and one church had
over 200 in attendance. Even some
smalerl churches, like the one which usually runs about 25 in attendance had 75. But it gets better than this. In the past month we have had 7
members called into the ministry.
We’ve also started training throughout the region. Now, we need church buildings and the
same Lord of the harvest is able to provide these. Let us all pray that God will send us new resources and
people willing to help us build them.
Pastor Mora shared with me this past month that they want to plant three
other churches from their mother church.
Pray to the Lord of the harvest for faith in the future.”
North Carolina “Knee-mail” Praise Reports—
Rolesville—We
received thirty four (34) new members by covenant this morning, April 20, 2008.
It was wonderful! —Bishop Ron Brisson, pastor
Franklinton—God is
moving!!! So many places you have to beg for help. But here I am
having to beg and encourage our Leadership to slow down and not over do
it. What a great problem. I am stressing the importance of
staying focused on their ministry oversight. We now have a choir with 20 members. Praise the
Lord!
The New Hope Baptist Church invited us to be in charge of a
revival service at their Church last Tuesday night. Their church is hungry for
a move of God! Our choir, praise team and mime team ministered. I
brought the message entitled "Satan The Blood Of Jesus Is Against
You." God really moved.
We have 17 enrolled in a B.T.I. course. We also have 20
individuals that are planning to attend the General Assembly.
I could go on and on about what God is doing at Franklinton, New
Beginnings Church of God Of Prophecy. May the Lord bless. Bishop Richard
